Magazine Research #3

The magazine Light & Tasty, distributes their issues between two months. That gives the magazine a broader, wider range of possible content to publish. It also allows them to increase their timeline for distribution. In this issue, the magazine covers the months of June and July.

The Magazine does a great job at including the theme to the 4th of July with the theme colors of red, white and blue. This color scheme coincides with the holiday that is present in July and it is evident that the dish in the center as well as all over, not to mention how tasty it looks.

They switch on the inside of the issue towards the table of contents to another color scheme, which is very vibrant and bright, reflecting the summer months very well. You see classic summertime foods like BBQ, Watermelon, and others.

For this advertisement, they display multiple covers and descriptions of their own magazine brands
by this they are advocating for their own separate issues, making their advertisements relatively free.

This style of the article layout looks the most similar to the one I am interested in since it reflects a two-page article. It is clearly organized, and laid out with multiple pictures that are located right in the middle, a perfect view for the reader to see.
