CCR #2 Draft
My product engages audiences due to the type of product I am providing them. The main goal of this product is to spark a movement around my community of eating at local restaurants instead of chain diners. This allows them to show that they have a variety of options in terms of eating relatively inexpensive meals while also experiencing great quality dishes. Another way that my product engages consumers is an emphasis on supporting BBQ restaurants with a goal of increasing local BBQ pits customers based off of a review I myself have conducted. The review includes factors such as cleanliness, friendliness of staff, and overall quality of the BBQ.
My product would be distributed into physical magazine copies. As data suggests, that print media is dying. Well, wouldn't it be nice to change that through magazines? I personally think that this product has the ability to capture eyes and get people reading print magazines. One reason I think this is because of the product I am selling... FOOD! Food captures people's attention like nothing else, and I believe that a print media version of my magazine could become successful.
I will distribute the magazine into grocery stores such as Detweiler's Market, or Morton's Market. Both of these markets have been serving the Sarasota Community forever. Both places have a trendy feel to them and as well as a local emphasis on their service to our county. I will also focus on getting my magazine into The White Buffalo Saloon, a restaurant and Country style themed grill that has a lot of BBQ lovers that attend their dance nights.
Finally, the main goal that I am aiming at is to empower local restaurants, because local eating strengthens the local economy and the local community.
